Project Coordinator

A project management team is seeking a Network Project Support Coordinator to assist with data entry, coordination, and customer support activities. This role supports efforts to reduce project manager workload and improve efficiency in setting up new, relocated, and closed locations.

The individual in this role will be responsible for processing network requests, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, tracking communications, and documenting workflows to ensure consistent and efficient execution.

Key Responsibilities

Network Request Coordination

• Process network requests for new, relocated, and closed sites through the Project Management System
• Review incoming requests and assign appropriate tasks
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing communications
• Document network site information and status updates within service requests

Vendor Coordination

• Request circuit quotes from approved vendors
• Compare quotes to support cost‑effective decision‑making
• Coordinate site visits between vendors and field personnel
• Order network hardware from approved vendors
• Escalate concerns to Telecom leadership when vendor expectations are not met

Internal Communication & Scheduling

• Schedule site testing and network turn‑ups with required internal teams
• Coordinate with the Network Operations Center (NOC) to assign resources
• Provide timely updates to field teams regarding network request status

Process Documentation & Improvement

• Document interactions and outcomes to support future requests
• Identify areas where process documentation can be improved
• Collaborate with the Telecom Projects team to update and maintain process documentation

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

• Project coordination or administrative support experience
• Familiarity with telecommunications concepts and workflows
• Inventory tracking and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to network equipment (e.g., Cisco routers)
• Experience working with telecom vendors or service providers
• Familiarity with ticketing or project management systems

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Charlotte,NC.
