Part-time Accounting Assistant
Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Part-time Accounting Assistant to work onsite Mon-Fri either 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM to assist accounting department. This role is responsible for day-to-day transactional accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
This is a PART-TIME, in person position based in Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity.
- Process vendor invoices, ensure proper coding, and maintain accurate payment records.
- Maintain accurate supporting documentation for all transactions, entries, and reconciliations.
- Accurately enter and maintain financial data within accounting systems. (QuickBooks, AppFolio)
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable, or similar role preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online required.
- Experience with AppFolio or similar property management/accounting software preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
