**What You'll Do:**
+ Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas.
+ Perform regular and random patrols of the premises, including the perimeter, to identify and report any security-related concerns or unusual activities.
+ Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
+ Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees and visitors while maintaining security-related protocols.
+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
+ Follow all site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out security-related tasks and/or responding to emergency situations.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
