The Field Supervisor is responsible for organizing, managing, and training field crews supporting operations in the North Carolina region . This role ensures crews operate safely, efficiently, and professionally while meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct morning safety tailgate meetings before crews depart for job sites.
- Ensure crews working remotely conduct Job Safety Hazard Analysis (JSHA) meetings.
- Confirm crews are fully prepared for assigned jobs , including tools and specialized equipment.
- Monitor crew professionalism and equipment housekeeping standards .
- Perform daily safety audits , ensuring proper PPE and compliance.
- Visit crews in the field to monitor performance and provide support .
- Facilitate on-the-job training and corrective training when needed .
- Track field visits and provide daily reports to management .
- Ensure crews return from the field on schedule .
- Coordinate with business development for service rates, proposals, and crew scheduling .
Weekly Responsibilities
- Conduct production and performance audits for each crew.
- Develop and maintain weekly crew schedules (locations, project details, duration).
- Hold individual crew meetings to address needs, support development, and maintain morale.
Monthly Responsibilities
- Conduct truck and equipment inspections to ensure readiness and completeness.
- Communicate customer-requested changes to crews and ensure proper implementation.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support operational requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial or field operations.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) .
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English .
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check .
- Must be authorized to work in the United States .
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience , or equivalent combination.
- Strong customer service and communication skills .
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities .
- Ability to work under deadlines and time constraints .
Travel Requirements
- Daily travel.
- Overnight and out-of-state travel may be required .
- Per diem provided .
- Company-provided vehicle
