We are seeking an IT Engineering Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, manage system setups, and maintain network operations to ensure the smooth and secure functioning of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

• System Setup: Install and configure operating systems, applications, and updates.

• Network Maintenance: Support LAN/WAN/wireless operations, monitor network performance, and resolve connectivity issues.

• Security & Access: Manage user accounts, access rights, and enforce password protection and other security measures.

• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, update system records, and contribute to workflow improvements.

• Collaboration: Escalate complex problems to higher-level IT teams and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Networking, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, or network operations.

• Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+, Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Proficiency in network management tools and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).

• Familiarity with endpoint monitoring, SIEM tools, and basic cybersecurity practices.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
