Job Description

The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care for a diverse patient population across all ages, specializing in telemetry within a 24-bed unit. The RN will work collaboratively with a team to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and implement nursing care plans.
• Monitor patient vitals and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Document patient progress in electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in staff training and orientation as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing with telemetry experience.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Required certifications: BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, NIH.
