As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, corridors, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor check-in, and help maintain orderly flow in public-facing areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and customer or employee concerns, and notify appropriate contacts as needed.
- Complete patrol and incident documentation, communicate key updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management, and support opening and closing routines when assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 or more years of security experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- Be 21 or more years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
