Sales Advisor
Job Description Overview
Hilltop Wealth Advisors is growing, and we’re seeking a growth-focused Sales Advisor to help expand our impact as we scale toward a $1B+ multi-office RIA. This role is ideal for an advisor who thrives in discovery conversations, relationship-building, and closing new client relationships, while partnering closely with Lead Advisors and the service team to deliver a world-class client experience.

Hungry Learner – We pursue mastery through curiosity and continuous growth.
Better Together – We succeed through collaboration, shared goals, and unified effort.

• Lead discovery, qualification, and closing conversations with prospective clients
• Convert ideal prospects into long-term Hilltop clients
• Identify opportunities to expand assets and planning relationships with existing clients
• Cultivate client referrals and Centers of Influence (CPAs, attorneys, etc.)
• Represent Hilltop professionally in community and growth-oriented settings
• Partner with Lead Advisors to ensure a seamless onboarding and transition experience
• Collaborate with planning, investment, and client service teams to support growth initiatives

• Extensive experience working with high-net-worth families
• Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning concepts
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, empathy, and listening)
• Demonstrates personal integrity and sound judgment
• High emotional intelligence and comfort leading client conversations
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities
• Familiarity with tools such as eMoney, Holistiplan, and Nitrogen preferred
Experience and Education Requirements
• 7–12+ years of experience in financial advisory services or wealth management
• Bachelor’s degree required
• CFP® certification required
• Series 65 required
• Desire to work directly with prospective and existing clients
• Strong self-leadership, professionalism, and technology aptitude
Compensation and Benefits
• Competitive base salary ($150,000 - $200,000)
• Participation in Hilltop’s firm-wide revenue incentive pool
• Bonus opportunities tied to net-new assets
• Structured career track with long-term growth and equity potential
Hilltop offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, generous paid time off, volunteer time off, flexible work-from-home policy (up to five days per month, with Monday and Thursday designated for in-office collaboration), and ongoing educational reimbursement opportunities.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing your experience in wealth management, your interest in a growth-focused advisory role, and how Hilltop’s core values align with your own.
