Continuous Improvement (CI) Intern
Purpose of the Job:
- Assist with specific and focused continuous improvement projects and AMPS deployment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee projects to help improve efficiency and reduce waste/spoilage
- Create and analyze data for specific process areas
- Support AMPS deployment and training
- Conduct routine audits of process areas
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors’ degree from a 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 GPA- highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience conducting research
- Self-starter
- Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow policies and procedures

The starting hourly base rate for this role is $21.00 and goes up to $24.00 dependent on years of service within the company. The company also offers a Success Share Bonus that is dependent on the plant? meeting certain metrics and targets. Please note that the range for the rate provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final rate will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
