We’re looking for Production Assistant to assist in printing operations in a climate controlled facility.
Position: Production Assistant (Opportunity for growth)
Starting Pay : $16-16.50 per hour + OT
Hours/Schedule: 3:30pm - 2:00am | Tuesday - Saturday

Summary of responsibilities:

• Insert address tags into mail sacks, or mail trays used for bulk mailing of ID cards, kits, and catalogs.

• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot problems, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.

• Keep work area in order and follow prescribed safety regulations.

• Able to read postal statements and sort mail accordingly.

• Adjust machinery as required to return output to the proper specifications.

• Direct and supervise the work of helpers on the machine.

• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager.

• Communicates status of jobs to department manager

Must haves:

• Experience in printing or mail inserting environment (operating either Pitney Bowes, Kern or Bell and Howell Inserters) is a plus.

• Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity.

• Take personal responsibility for productivity, quality and timeliness of work.

• Effectively communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely manner.

• Challenge conventional practices and use creativity and information to lead, innovate, problem solve, and implement ideas to contribute to the growth of the organization.

• Support and meet company/department goals and core values.

• Collaborate with co-workers to achieve common goals.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
