Bobst/Heidelberg Die-Cut Press Operator
Day in the Life
You arrive, review the job layout and project specifications, and plan your make-ready. You dial in the Bobst platen die-cutter or the Heidelberg cylinder press, ensuring the setup matches the run requirements. Before the first full run, you verify tooling, alignments, and safety checks. As production starts, you pull predetermined samples to inspect quality on each load, keeping the run on-spec. You keep the equipment clean, document operating details, and flag maintenance needs. Throughout the shift, you support your supervisor and plant manager with any additional tasks while upholding Snyder’s safety and quality standards.
