Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in New Bern, NC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance and repairs. Key Responsibilities

• General Repairs: Fixing minor damages to walls (patching holes, drywall repair), doors, and fixtures.

• Plumbing: Repairing leaky faucets, unclogging drains, replacing caulking around tubs and toilets, and addressing other basic plumbing issues.

• Electrical: Changing light bulbs, replacing outlets or switches, and ensuring the safety and functionality of all electrical systems.

• Appliances: Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing or installing major appliances like refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and washing machines.

• HVAC: Checking and changing air filters, and performing basic troubleshooting or preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems.

• Carpentry: Minor repairs to cabinets, doors, or trim work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• HVAC Certification
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
