About The Role

As a Software Engineer I, you will perform basic software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. As part of our team, you will contribute to the development of innovative software solutions. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with foundational programming knowledge and a passion for learning and collaboration.

Location: On-Site in Raleigh, NC

Program Start Dates: January 15, 2026, and June 15, 2026

Graduation Qualifications: Applicants should have completed their studies in 2024 or 2025, or expect to finish between August 2025 and May 2026.

Responsibilities

• Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of simple complexity.
• Completing simple bug fixes and resolving basic technical issues.
• Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
• Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting basic technical challenges.
• Staying current with emerging technologies and development practices.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• Be on track to receive a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field of study.
• Have proficiency in at least one programming language, including but not limited to Angular, C#, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .NET
• Possess a basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), storage systems, and data modeling principles.
• Display an interest in test-driven development and continuous learning.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for technology with the ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
• Have a collaborative mindset with solid communication skills.
• Be able to engage with leading-edge technologies while working alongside accomplished peers.
