Telecom Analyst
Description
The analyst’s Number One job responsibility is to deliver the most remarkable patient experience, in every dimension, every time, and understand how he or she contributes to the health system’s vision of achieving that commitment to patients and families. Under general supervision, develops telecommunications solutions to address user needs. May interface with users to define needs. Assists in the design, development, and testing of communications software interface programs. Usually involved in the implementation and testing of projects. Requires knowledge of communication protocols, hardware, and real-time operating system programming. Requires proficiency in use of software and hardware tools to administer and resolve moderately complex tasks on telecommunication systems.

The following qualifications are the minimum necessary to adequately perform this job. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities would be acceptable, subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements. A. Education and formal training: 1. Technical school training OR 2. AS degree OR 3. Bachelors Degree 4. 2-4 years related experience 5. Telecommunications Operations Experience B. Work experience: 1. 2-4 years in complex mission critical environments. C. Knowledge, skills and abilities required: 1. Working knowledge of PBX, Systems Programming, voice mail, networks, wiring and specifications. 2. Intermediate knowledge of telecommunication network monitoring tools and protocols. 3. PC literate and proficient in analytical application problem resolution 4. Ability to take direction. D. Physical requirements: 1. Ability to walk between campus buildings and to drive to remote facilities as needed. 2. Ability to travel out of town for education, conferences, site visits, etc. 3. Ability to be bonded and insured. 4. Ability and desire to increase technical knowledge and skills as the complexity of the environment changes 5. Ability to lift 50 lbs Tools- they provide all tools and laptop.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
