1st Shift - Switcher Driver
- Safely operate and maneuver 18-wheelers between docks across the facility
- Maintain communication with dock crews, drivers, and other switchers to coordinate trailer movement
- Conduct yard checks and update management as needed
- Operate fuel truck when necessary
- Assist with dock work and labor tasks as directed
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a switcher truck or OTR trailer
- Valid driver’s license with driving privileges in the applicable state
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a team environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Primarily an outdoor role, with occasional work in indoor settings for administrative tasks
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and allergens
- Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and twisting
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted
- Occasional work at heights, including on scaffolding
- Ability to operate all necessary equipment and machinery safely and effectively
