**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies for the location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
+ Monitor and report any unusual activities or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to students, staff, and visitors.
+ Follow all applicable protocols for the armed post, including handling and securing assigned equipment and/or weapons in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
+ Complete all required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely fashion.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
+ At least six months of security-related experience is required.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
