Are you passionate about creating dream kitchens and luxurious bathrooms? We are seeking an experienced Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our growing team! As a Kitchen and Bath Designer, you will be working closely with clients to bring their vision of the perfect space to life, while falling within safety guidelines and budget limitations. You will be working closely with clients, project managers, and other design professionals to design stunning kitchen and bath renovations that exceed client expectations and bring visions to life. The ideal candidate has a background in design, strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and to handle multiple projects at once. Responsibilities
- Meet with potential and current clients to understand their vision, needs, preferences, and budget
- Develop innovative and functional kitchen and bath design concepts, optimizing space, functionality, and aesthetics
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and renderings using design software to visually communicate design ideas to clients
- Create comprehensive material and finish selections, considering client preferences, functionality, and budget
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure design plans meet all technical requirements and building codes
- Manage client expectations throughout the design process, addressing concerns promptly and providing clear communication
- Participate in client presentations and showroom consultations, showcasing products and design solutions
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in kitchen and bath design, materials, and appliances
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years experience in residential kitchen and bath design remodeling
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate design concepts to clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and manage expectations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Working knowledge of construction methods and materials relevant to kitchen and baths
