At Piedmont Health Senior Care, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors in our community through our Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). We help seniors maintain their independence and continue living at home for as long as possible. We achieve this by offering comprehensive, personalized healthcare and related services, all tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of each senior we serve.
Our approach is unlike any other healthcare plan! PACE emphasizes a participant-centered strategy, focusing on providing the right care and services that best support each participant's unique needs and goals. We integrate and coordinate all aspects of care, leveraging a team of dedicated doctors, nurses, therapists, dieticians, and other specialized professionals who work together as a care team to manage and address the complete health needs of each.

About Position
Work Location: 1214 Vaughn Rd, Burlington, NC 27217
Schedule: 1 FTE , Monday through Friday
Travel: N/A
Duties/ Responsibilities - The primary responsibility of the Physician is to provide direct primary medical care to all participants of the program. The Physician would also be required to participate in call schedule every 7 weeks with other providers.
Qualifications -
Preferred: Geriatrics fellowship training preferred.
Education/Experience : Graduate from an accredited school of medicine and at least 2-3 years clinical experience. One year of experience with the frail or elderly preferred.

Able to get along with others in a team environment
Able to deliver service to physicians, patients and fellow employees with compassion in a responsive and courteous manner in accordance with PACE policies and procedures
Must have the ability to effectively handle difficult and unusual interpersonal situations
Only act within the scope of authority to practice
Meet a standardized set of competencies established by Piedmont Health SeniorCare and approved by CMS before working independently
Type of Employees Supervised : None, except clinical precepting of nurse practitioner staff.
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Current license to practice medicine in NC. Valid NC driver license and reliable transportation.
Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
Pay Range: $170,336 - $228,918
