Your Role with the Company
In this Field Application Engineer (FAE) role you will drive the successful implementation of power and thermal products while understanding customer needs and applications. This role requires deep technical expertise and commercial judgment to achieve business outcomes, while building strong cross-functional relationships across Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and key external stakeholders.
You’ll be the on-site technical champion at customer locations, key accounts, and partner organizations — delivering pre-sales demonstrations, design-in support, post-sales troubleshooting, and training. Success will rely on applying progressive project management practices, collaborating with global R&D, and approaching challenges with both curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit. - Provide technical and project leadership for named key accounts, serving as factory liaison
- Deliver pre-sales applications support to expand adoption at strategic customers
- Become the go-to technical expert, testing new product introductions and validating performance
- Partner with R&D to close the loop on product issues, bugs, or improvement opportunities
- Support sales with training, product launches, technical documentation, and industry trade shows
- Develop customer-facing materials (application notes, presentations, success stories) to highlight solutions

Background Profile
- B.S.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline
- 1+ years’ related product or field application experience in power electronic products
- Proven ability to translate customer needs into solutions and champion those solutions internally
- Hands-on expertise with power electronics (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC converters, chargers, motor drives)
- Familiarity with thermal solutions (axial fans, EC fans, liquid cooling, solenoids, pumps)
- Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Market familiarity with industries including industrial logistics, energy, agriculture, medical, lighting, automation, food & beverage, off-road vehicles, CNC machines, packaging, oil & gas
- Willingness to travel 20–30%
- Deep technical understanding of power and thermal product applications
- Strong commercial instincts to align technical efforts with business growth
- Research, data analysis, planning, and strategic thinking skills
- Initiative, accountability, and ownership of projects and outcomes

- Salary Range: $83K – $121K (includes ~10% bonus)
