A large, complex and purpose‑driven organisation is seeking an experienced Manager - Hybrid Cloud Platforms to take ownership of its hybrid cloud environment and lead a high‑performing infrastructure team through the next phase of platform maturity.

This is a rare permanent opportunity to step into a strategic, enterprise‑scale leadership role where you'll shape long‑term cloud strategy, influence significant investment decisions, and build capability that underpins critical services across the organisation.

The Opportunity

As Manager - Hybrid Cloud Platforms, you will be accountable for the end‑to‑end strategy, lifecycle and performance of a large hybrid hosting estate spanning AWS, Azure and private cloud platforms.

You'll lead a skilled, multidisciplinary team, balancing operational stability with continuous improvement, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to design and deliver secure, resilient and scalable infrastructure solutions.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Owning the strategy, governance and operational performance of hybrid cloud platforms across public and private environments
• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of cloud and infrastructure specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and excellence
• Driving automation, observability and modern platform practices to improve reliability, resilience and operational efficiency
• Managing multi‑million‑dollar CAPEX and OPEX budgets, including cloud cost optimisation and vendor performance
• Ensuring services meet strict security, governance and compliance obligations in a highly regulated environment
• Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, contributing to long‑term infrastructure and technology strategy

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading hybrid cloud or infrastructure platforms at enterprise scale
• Strong people leadership capability, including workforce planning and capability uplift
• Hands‑on understanding of AWS, Azure and private cloud environments
• Experience managing complex budgets, vendor relationships and cost optimisation
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead change in complex organisations
• A balance of strategic thinking and operational credibility
