Locum Sleep Medicine MDDO
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Sleep Medicine in Greenville SC
Join a dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility in Greenville South Carolina specializing in Sleep Medicine. This opportunity at the Palmetto Pulmonary & Critical Care promises a collaborative practice environment. With a focus on enhancing access to sleep medicine youll contribute to compassionate patient care in a well-equipped clinic offering both in-person and remote consultation options.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with sleep disorders including but not limited to Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and Insomnia.
- Interpret sleep studies conducted in an outpatient department.
- Follow up with patients post-sleep study to discuss results and treatment options.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including polysom technicians and medical assistants.
- Manage a patient load of 12-16 patients per day.
- Utilize Epic for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine (REQUIRED)
- Active South Carolina medical license (REQUIRED)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold a valid and active South Carolina medical license.
- Current BLS certification required.
