CDL-A Truck Driver Eastern States

10-4 Logistics USA is seeking an experienced East Region Class A (CDL-A) over‑the‑road truck driver to operate 100% dry van, no‑touch freight with approximately 60% drop‑and‑hook. The successful candidate will complete regional OTR assignments while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety policies.

Compensation & schedule

• Training pay: $650 during a four‑week in‑cab training period with a trainer
• Base pay after training: $0.55 to $0.65 per mile (dependent on experience)
• Performance bonus: $0.04 to $0.06 per mile, paid monthly
• Typical home time: bi‑weekly
• Estimated annual compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 (USD), depending on miles and performance

Primary responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT and company rules
• Execute assigned regional OTR routes, meeting delivery windows and customer instructions
• Perform thorough pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections; report maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain accurate hours‑of‑service records and electronic logging device (ELD) entries
• Secure and handle cargo properly; follow drop‑and‑hook procedures as required
• Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch, maintenance, and customers
• Practice fuel management, route discipline, and on‑road safety best practices
• Complete required paperwork and electronic documentation accurately and timely

Minimum qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (CDL‑A)
• Minimum 120 hours of truck driving school instruction completed within the past 24 months
• Ability to meet DOT medical standards and pass required drug screening
• Proficiency in English sufficient for safe vehicle operation and clear communication
