RATE OF PAY - $23.00 - $25.00 PER HOUR

ABOUT OUR ROLE
As a Line Cook, you will work closely with the BOH Team to ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely and efficient manner. All cooks are key members of our culinary team, responsible for making sure dishes go to our customers efficiently and correctly. This role involves a want to learn, being able to keep up with demand of the business, and teamwork. The ideal candidates will have a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will help us deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prepare dishes according to company recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards at all times.
Accurately read, measure, and execute recipes.
Ensure quality, consistency, and attention to detail in all food prepared.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with management and team members to coordinate service.
Assist other team members with cooking and preparation as needed to meet service demands.
Contribute to a positive, cooperative, and team-oriented work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Experience in the culinary field.
Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent (preferred).
Passion for cooking, creativity, and strong attention to detail.
Commitment to quality, teamwork, and a positive work ethic.
2 years sauté, grill cook experience required.
Must be able to work evening/PM shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a high-volume restaurant.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform under pressure.
Skills
Apply culinary techniques and knowledge of food safety and sanitation to prepare high-quality dishes.
Ensure timely and efficient meal preparation in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve kitchen goals.
Maintain organization and prioritize tasks to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Stand and walk for extended periods (8–10 hours per shift).
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (pots, pans, boxes of supplies).
Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and navigate tight spaces.
Maintain manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for food preparation.
Work effectively in a hot, fast-paced environment near ovens and stoves.
Read recipes and monitor food quality with visual accuracy.
Communicate clearly with team members.
Sustain physical stamina for long, high-pressure shifts.
