Speech Tactics is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team . The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients, possess a passion for growth, and find purpose in serving children... PERIOD. The qualified candidate will be able to assess and diagnose a wide range of conditions, as well as develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on medical necessity.

Responsibilities:

• 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, but not required
• Opportunities for COTA supervision w/ Bonus Pay
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients within a multi-disciplinary clinical setting
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities.
• Develop home programs and provide parent education/coaching
• Collaborate with OT, ST, PT, ABA, PYSCH, and parents/caregivers
• Evaluate and assess patients' needs and abilities on an ongoing basis
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans and revise plans accordingly and as needed
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve the patient's quality of life
• Instruct patients and families in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques, as needed
• Provide education to families and caregivers on how to support the patient's progress.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PEDIATRIC OTR

• Spanish fluency is a PLUS
• NC License and AOTA Certification
• At least (2) years of pediatric experience preferred, but NOT required
• Early Childhood Intervention experience is a PLUS
• Excellent Communication skills
