Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A special education teaching position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school setting in Youngsville, NC. This role focuses on supporting students in an inclusion classroom environment, serving grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. The position is contract to hire, providing an opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 15 students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive classroom strategies.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in pliance with district and state regulations.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with elementary-level students, preferably in an inclusion setting.
• Strong munication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively while providing personalized student support.

Position Details:

• Location: Youngsville, NC
• Schedule: Part-time, 10-15 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM onsite.
• Student Grades: K-6, including 6th grade inclusion.
• Job Duration: Contract to hire for the 25/26 school year.
