Recruiter
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for construction and skilled trade roles, including but not limited to:
- Welders, Fabricators, Pipefitters, Sheet Metal Mechanics
- Project Managers, Project Engineers, Estimators, Superintendents
- Develop a strong working knowledge of job requirements, including:
- Welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, etc.)
- Metal types (carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, alloys)
- Fabrication and installation methods
- Screen candidates for both technical capability and alignment with company values and standards
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, timelines, and skill gaps
- Create and post job ads, source candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate offers
- Build and maintain a pipeline of skilled trade talent for current and future needs
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, referrals, trade schools, unions, networking, and industry contacts
- Attend or support hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach efforts as needed
- Represent the company professionally to candidates and external partners
- Assist other HR team members with projects as workload allows, which may include:
- Onboarding support
- Employee communications
- HR data tracking or reporting
- Special projects related to recruiting, retention, or engagement
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or skilled trades
- Working knowledge of construction roles, tools, and terminology
- Ability to understand and discuss technical skills related to welding, metals, and fabrication
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—able to build trust with candidates and hiring managers
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred
