Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Senior to join our growing tax team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting client engagements, and mentoring junior staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to expand their technical skills and take on increased responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
-Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and nonprofits
-Assist with tax planning and compliance for a variety of clients, including those in specialized industries
-Research tax issues and prepare clear, concise documentation
-Collaborate with managers and partners on client engagements
-Supervise and mentor associates, reviewing work and providing feedback
-Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication
-Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's in Taxation a plus)
-CPA license or actively pursuing certification
-3+ years of public accounting tax experience
-Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
-Experience with tax preparation and research tools
-Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
