School Psychologist
We are looking for a talented School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year.
Hourly Rate Range: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavioral growth.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop effective academic and behavioral interventions.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention when needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) and IDEA regulations.
- Provide consultation and training for staff on topics such as mental health, classroom behavior management, and social-emotional learning.
- Support students in developing social skills, coping strategies, and self-regulation techniques.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology or Educational Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) School Psychologist License .
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred.
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required.
