About the Role
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for directing and overseeing the overall operation of the hotel’s restaurant and food outlets. This dynamic leader will manage all aspects of our food and beverage program, including the hotel restaurant, bar, lounge, and Starbucks outlet, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and an outstanding guest experience.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire teams, maintain brand standards, and drive innovation in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage all Food & Beverage departments, including restaurant, bar, lounge, and Starbucks outlet
Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing F&B team
Develop and implement training programs to ensure exceptional guest service and compliance with health and safety regulations
Promote and publicize all food outlets to maximize revenue opportunities
Prepare and assist with annual budgeting and financial planning
Control costs through effective inventory management, waste reduction, and portion control
Assist in updating and implementing new menu items
Monitor and manage labor costs within budgeted guidelines
Conduct daily audits to ensure compliance with franchise and CMC Hotels standards
Oversee beverage operations, ensuring full compliance with ABC regulations
Collaborate closely with department leaders to support overall hotel profitability
Lead by example — stepping in as needed to cook, bartend, or serve
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts preferred
Minimum 3 years of management experience in Food & Beverage and/or 2 years of hotel restaurant experience
ServSafe and T.I.P.S. Certification (or ability to obtain)
Experience with POS operating systems
Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
Guest-focused, service-driven leadership style
Ability to multitask, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Clean background check and reliable transportation
