- Oversee daily operations of the HVAC service and installation departments , ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, correctly, and on schedule.
- Support the General Manager with lead follow-up , job status tracking, and closing operational gaps.
- Ensure proper job execution, documentation, photos, and closeouts for all service and install work.
- Lead weekly team meetings , ride-alongs, and field check-ins with technicians.
- Enforce and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) .
- Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new hires.
- Help develop and implement training curricula for technicians at all levels.
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and licensing requirements are met.
- Work closely with dispatch and office staff to optimize scheduling and workflow.
- Support sales efforts by ensuring accurate diagnostics, proper recommendations, and smooth handoffs.
- Maintain a strong customer experience and protect the companys brand reputation.
- Active HVAC license required (Heating Group 3 Class I or equivalent)
- Proven experience in residential and/or light commercial HVAC operations
- Strong understanding of HVAC service, diagnostics, and installations
- Leadership experience managing technicians and field operations
- Ability to coach, train, and hold teams accountable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with CRM and dispatch software preferred
