We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. This role is essential in promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being through various massage techniques tailored to individual needs.

Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, deep tissue, and relaxation massages.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the treatment area.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and techniques in massage therapy and related fields.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess and treat clients.
• Proficiency in various massage techniques, including trigger point therapy and pain management strategies.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to occupational health and patient care.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments to tailor treatments effectively.
• Strong communication skills for educating clients about their treatment plans and self-care options.
• Experience in a med spa environment is a plus but not required.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
