About Us: Pivot Parking stands as a premier provider of parking solutions, dedicated to ensuring safe and well-maintained parking facilities for our clients and customers. We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Parking Ambassadors to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience at our parking locations.
Job Description:
As a Parking Ambassador at Pivot Parking, you will contribute significantly to the appearance and functionality of our parking facilities. This role involves a blend of routine tasks, customer interaction, and emergency response. This Seasonal job type can be part-time or full-time, with evening and weekend shifts. Job employes from March 1st until October 31st each year.
Key Responsibilities:
Parking Assistance:
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with parking information.
- Direct and guide individuals to available parking spaces.
- Assist with traffic control during peak hours or special events.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall experience of individuals utilizing the facilities.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues related to parking, offering helpful and accurate information.
Traffic Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage the flow of traffic within the parking facilities.
- Coordinate with security and traffic personnel to ensure the smooth entry and exit of vehicles.
Enforcement:
- Monitor parking areas for compliance with designated policies and regulations.
- Issue warnings or citations for unauthorized parking as needed.
Safety and Security:
- Maintain a vigilant presence to enhance the safety and security of the parking facilities.
- Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with fellow Parking Ambassadors, security personnel, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless parking operations.
- Utilize radio communication systems to stay connected with the team.
Documentation:
- Keep accurate records of parking-related incidents, issues, and citations.
- Prepare reports as required by the facilities management team.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure the proper functioning and cleanliness of parking equipment, such as ticket machines and barriers.
- Report any malfunctions promptly for maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a parking garage or similar environment.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks that may require physical effort.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
- Full-time and Part-time positions available. Part-time 16-29 hours per week; must be available Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
- Shifts vary between 10 am - 6 pm or 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Enforcement ambassadors provide customer service to residents, visitors and tourists for the Carolina Beach area and provide information pertaining to parking regulations and are responsible for enforcing parking regulations via digital citations.
- Include being able to work outdoors,
- Moderate levels of standing, walking and sitting while driving golf cart or other vehicle.
- Other skills required include visual acuity to operate vehicles/golf carts and to see information on iPhone screens regarding parking payments.
- Candidate must be able to handle high stress situations and to clearly express or exchange information pertaining to parking regulations verbally in an acceptable customer service level.
- Must have clean driving record as driving record and background check will be completed.
