RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work in a 40-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) with 1:2 patient ratios
• Scrub color requirements: surgical green or navy scrubs
• 6-week scheduling periods with 3 call shifts required within each 6-week period
• Float within peri-anesthesia areas including Endoscopy, PreOp, and Phase II
• Use Cerner documentation system
• Work with standard PACU equipment and ventilator monitoring
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must have NIH Stroke Scale experience
• Trauma experience and pediatric experience preferred
• Advanced skills needed in ventilator monitoring
• Unit support includes HUC available 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and 4 PCTs scheduled daily
• PCTs can draw labs, perform catheterizations, and transport patients
• Located in K Tower, Cost Center 704
