Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting located in Mooresville, NC. This contract position offers a comprehensive caseload tailored to your experience level, with an expected 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The role requires onsite presence to effectively collaborate with students and educational teams during the contract school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and therapy sessions.
- Participate in meetings and consult with school staff to integrate therapy strategies within the academic environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Certification as a School Speech Language Pathologist.
- Active and unrestricted North Carolina state license to practice as an SLP.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and work independently in a school environment.
Location: Mooresville, NC
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Work Environment: Onsite only
