Treatment Coordinator
Job Description
Job Description
About Us
We’re building something special in Garner - a modern, warm, family-friendly dental practice grounded in community and care. We believe that every patient should feel right at home, and we’re looking for a Treatment Coordinator who will help bring that vision to life. If you thrive on connection, clarity, and guiding people through their care, you might be the right fit.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients from diagnosis through treatment scheduling and follow-up.
- Explain treatment plans clearly and compassionately - helping patients understand procedures, timelines and costs.
- Review insurance benefits, verify eligibility and assist patients in understanding their out-of-pocket commitments.
- Present payment and financing options in a professional, transparent and caring way.
- Coordinate with the dentist and clinical team to schedule treatments, follow-ups and manage patient flow.
- Track treatment progress, reschedule as needed, and assist with patient retention and case completion.
- Support front-office workflows: scheduling, check-out, patient communication, and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
- Champion a patient experience of trust, comfort and high-quality service.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education (in business, health care, dental administration) is a plus.
- Prior experience in a dental office strongly preferred - especially in roles involving treatment coordination, patient financial services or scheduling.
- Bilingual Spanish/English required. We have a diverse patient community and need someone fluent in Spanish to communicate effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts in everyday language.
- Excellent customer-service orientation: empathy, patience, and building rapport with patients.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks and follow through.
- Comfortable working in a team-based, fast-paced environment and willing to step in wherever needed.
- Proficient with office software (scheduling systems, patient-management software, spreadsheets); ability to learn new platforms quickly.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $19-$25 per hour (based on skills/experience).
- Bonus/incentive metrics tied to key outcomes (e.g., case acceptance, collections, schedule efficiency).
- Health and dental insurance.
- Paid time off and paid holidays.
- A modern, supportive workplace where your contributions matter and your voice is heard.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- Be part of a new, growing practice where you’ll have real influence and room to grow.
- Work in an uplifting, nature-inspired environment that feels more home than clinical.
- Join a team committed to comfort, clarity and community - we treat patients like family and each other like it too.
How to Apply
Submit your resume and a brief cover letter telling us:
- Why you’re excited about this role.
- Your level of Spanish-language ability and how you’ve used it in a professional context.
- A highlight of previous experience relevant to treatment coordination or patient financial services.
