We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems. This role requires a strong understanding of diesel engine repair, vehicle maintenance, and the ability to work with various types of industrial equipment. The Diesel Mechanic will also provide excellent customer service while ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including engine performance issues and mechanical failures.
• Perform brake repairs and maintenance on various vehicles and machinery.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain and repair farm machinery and industrial equipment as needed.
• Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Fabricate parts or components as required for repairs or modifications.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair status.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with brake repair techniques and safety procedures.
• Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment related to diesel mechanics.
• Experience working with farm machinery or industrial equipment is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems may be beneficial but is not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
