Advanced Industrial, located 30 minutes north of Charlotte in Mooresville North Carolina, is seeking a tenacious, experienced MACHINE SHOP Quality Assurance Inspector experience for hire immediately to join our fantastic team! Resumes from more experienced metrology technicians are also welcome and compensation is based on experience.

Established in 1995, Advanced Industrial has recently expanded into a 20,000 SF Facility that offers a very clean, temperature controlled manufacturing environment with 17 HAAS CNC Machine tools. This position is in a fast-paced, teamwork oriented, demanding job shop environment with high customer expectations. Check out our website at

Advanced Industrial specializes in relatively small parts out of High-Performance Plastics and Aluminum in runs of 20 to 500+ pcs with tight tolerances and finishes as fine as 16 rms.

Quality Inspector Qualifications/Skills:

• Knowledge of and ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gauge, plug gauges, ring gauges etc.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytic skills.
• Documentation skills.
• Hand/eye coordination.
• Reporting skills.

Incentives:

• Salary Range $22.00 - $30.00/hr + Virtually unlimited Overtime and Performance Bonuses depending on experience and individual talent.
• We offer 3% IRA Contributions and 20 PTO days per year (Including Holidays)

Hours: This is a Day Time Shift Position

Good references required

EDUCATION

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Trade School or college experience

EXPERIENCE

• Required: QA experience in a job shop machining facility. Experience in machining plastics would be a big plus!

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

• Machining custom machined parts in a setup intensive, customer-driven environment
• Micro-Vu Vertex 410 and a Mitutoyo Manual CMM with MCOSMOS software a plus
