As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter potential security-related incidents.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization of individuals entering and exiting the location.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal policies.
- Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed in accordance with established procedures.
- Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with training and company policies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
