We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV for a full-time hybrid role supporting our client in the utilities industry. This is a 3-Year Contract (Possibility of Extension). Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote. Occasional travel may be required using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving routine problems
• Assist in achieving business goals through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring work activities
• Prepare accurate technical reports, documentation, calculations, and sketches
• Conduct basic engineering studies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering and 10 years of experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Proficient knowledge of wiring diagrams / schematics, microprocessor-based relaying and relay protection schemes
• Experience with diagrams and schematics for DER site equipment (relays, inverters, UPS systems, etc.); and with relay settings calculations for protective relays associated with Inverter-Based Resources
• Familiarity with testing and commissioning of protective circuits using Omicron and Doble test sets
• Ability to analyze and report fault responses and breaker operations, and to interpret and develop relay logic with microprocessor-based relays
