Pay & Shift Premiums

• Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
• 2nd Shift Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour ($18 + $3 shift premium)
• 3rd Shift Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour ($18 + $2 shift premium)
• Performance review after 90 days with opportunity for pay increase

2nd Shift
Monday – Friday
2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd Shift
Sunday 10:00 PM – Friday 6:30 AM
Stable full-time hours with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.

Plastiflex is actively hiring Machine Operators / Production Operators for our Statesville manufacturing facility. Qualified candidates may be contacted quickly for interviews.
This position may also be referred to as Production Operator , Manufacturing Associate , or Extrusion Operator in similar manufacturing environments.

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor manufacturing and extrusion equipment
• Perform product inspections to maintain quality standards
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues
• Package and label finished products correctly
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow production instructions and quality procedures
• Complete required production documentation

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment on assigned product line
• Understand product part numbers and identification systems
• Follow operator work instructions including setup sheets, work orders, and SOP documents
• Perform continuous in-process inspections
• Ensure correct packaging and labeling of products
• Maintain safety standards and follow company policies
• Use precision measuring instruments when required

Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience

• 2+ years manufacturing experience preferred
• Plastic extrusion experience is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• CNC knowledge helpful but not required

Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Training is provided.
