Leadership Development Coordinator

About the Role

Our client, a leading global biopharmaceutical organization, is seeking a Leadership Development Coordinator to support the design, delivery, and ongoing execution of enterprise leadership and training initiatives.
This role will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact leadership development programs, support new-hire onboarding, and ensure operational excellence across program management, communications, and performance tracking.

Role Overview

The Leadership Development Coordinator will provide comprehensive support across program delivery, project management, and operational execution for leadership development initiatives. This includes coordinating training programs, managing communications, supporting instructional design efforts, and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, compliance standards, and performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership Development & Program Support

  • Support the execution of leadership development programs, including EMERGE and New Hire Training initiatives
  • Assist with instructional design elements (e.g., group activities, workshop support, gamification)
  • Provide logistical and operational support for program delivery (virtual and in-person)
  • Develop and maintain feedback mechanisms (e.g., surveys, after-action reviews)
  • Create and distribute field communications and program updates (FCCs)
  • Coordinate meeting cadence, program sessions, and leadership events

Project Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate Leadership Development and New Hire Training schedules and communications
  • Manage program timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder updates
  • Drive alignment across a matrixed stakeholder group
  • Track milestones, risks, and dependencies and escalate as needed
  • Support cross-functional communication between HR, Commercial, and Operations teams

Administrative & Operational Management

  • Provide administrative support across HR and operations for leadership programs
  • Maintain documentation, trackers, and reporting tools
  • Coordinate travel and expense management for training programs and events
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of operational processes

Performance, Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Support performance management processes tied to leadership development programs
  • Track program metrics, engagement, and effectiveness
  • Contribute to reporting and insights for stakeholders
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback

Compliance, Governance & Controls

  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Support quality management and assurance processes
  • Assist with compliance monitoring and documentation
  • Maintain strong controls across all program activities

Sustainment & Rewards Program Support

  • Support sustainment strategies for leadership development programs
  • Assist with coordination of rewards and recognition initiatives
  • Reinforce ongoing engagement and learning adoption

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, HR, L&D, or project management
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments
  • Exposure to leadership development or training programs
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven environments
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide initiatives

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $X to $Y. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
