Position: RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.

• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.

• Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient care effectiveness.

• Maintain a high level of visibility and accountability in work activities.

• Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.

• Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff as needed.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina with relevant certifications.

• Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing settings preferred.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Willingness to engage in performance reviews and set personal goals.

• Strong ability to assess and monitor patient vital signs effectively.

• Proficient in administering medications and following physician orders.

• Ability to document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Experience in collaborating with healthcare teams for patient care.
