Ultrasound Technologist Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 2, 2025 – December 2, 2025)
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4x9-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Setting: Hospital – Level 2 Trauma Center
- Employment Type: Travel Ultrasound Tech
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910–$1960
- On-Site Position: Yes
- Orientation: 40 hours
- COVID-19 & Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)

- Minimum 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (first-time travelers encouraged to apply)
- Active ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Strong pediatric and neonatal imaging skills required
- Experience with PACS and InteleRad PACS required; GE & Siemens ultrasound equipment preferred
- EPIC charting experience required
- Ability to perform portable ultrasound studies
- Willingness to float to other hospital campuses as needed
- Valid state license in hand at time of submission
- Education verification through a third party required
- Background check with no open cases
- No local candidates within 50 miles of Greensboro, NC
- Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including general, pediatric, neonatal, and vascular studies
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment (GE & Siemens preferred)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Rotate back-up call coverage as needed
- Accurately document studies and patient information in EPIC and PACS systems
- Provide compassionate patient care to neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Participate in orientation and complete all required modules
- Float to other hospital campuses as required
