RoleDescription

RedCedarConstructionServicesislookingforadetail - orientedStaffAccountanttojoinourteam.TheStaffAccountantpositionwillberesponsibleforseveralcriticaltaskswithinouraccountingteamandwillgainvaluableexposuretoallareasofourbusinessincludingrealestatedevelopment,construction,partnershipaccountingandfinancialreporting.Thispositionwillplayavitalroleinaccountingforandsupportingrealestatetransactions,debtmanagement,bankreconciliations,financialreporting,dailytransactionpostingsandmuchmore.Teamworkisoftheutmostimportanceandthereforewearelookingforsomeonewhoiscomfortableworkingwithaclose - knitteamandexhibitsatrueteamplayermentalityonaconsistentbasis.

PrimaryResponsibilities

• ReviewKPIsandfinancialreportsforcompleteness,accuracy,andcompliance
• Assistinmonthendcloseprocesses
• Completebalancesheetreconciliations
• Ensurethatappropriatecontrolsandcomplianceprocessesareinplaceandbeingfollowed
• Makerecommendationsforprocessimprovementsandautomationopportunities
• PreparejournalentriesincludingHUDentriesforalltypesofrealestatetransactions
• Preparevariousschedulesasrequiredbymanagement
• Prepareplannedandad -hocreports
• Playaleadroleindebtmanagementtrackingandmaintenance
• Assistinplanningandimplementingspecialprojectsplannedfor2024and2025
• Willingnesstolearnandthinkoutofthebox
• Otherdutiesasassigned

Education&Experience

• DemonstratedproficiencyinMicrosoftExcel
• Experienceinrecordingaccountingentries(accruals,prepaids)andcreatingjournalentries
• Strongunderstandingofaccountingfundamentals
• AdvancedMicrosoftOfficeskillsrequired ; highproficiencyinExcelisamust.
• Stronganalyticalskills.

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday,standarddaytimehours ;8am-5pm.Occasionalweekendworkmayberequired.

JobType:

• Full- timeposition,averaging40hoursperweek.

Compensation:

$70,000-$90,000
