Custodian

Seeking Custodians for logistics facility in Charlotte, NC. This is a janitorial/corrugate position that will require MILES of walking a day.

  • Janitor, Sunday-Tues 2a-2p Wednesday 2a-8a
  • Janitor, Sunday- Tues 2pm-2am Wednesday 2p-8
  • Janitor, Sunday- Tues 2pm-2am Wednesday 2p-9
  • Janitor, Wednesday 8a-2p, Thurs- Saturday 2am - 2pm
  • Janitor, Wednesday 8p-2a Thurs- Saturdays 2pm - 2am

• Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsite, haul trash to dumpsters
• Sweep and clean work areas throughout the project
• Able to distinguish between trash/scrap and stored materials
• Work in an organized manner completing areas as you go
• Work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas: Yard area, guard shack, smoke area, etc.

While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer, we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Removing and Bailing Cardboard
• Moving and stacking Pallets
• Floor cleaning
• Fork truck operation
• Need to be open to ALL tasks

Qualifications:;

• Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Must have reliable transportation
