IT Consultant - Data Analytics

*Hybrid in Charlotte, NC*

Join our dynamic team as an IT Consultant specializing in Data Analytics. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a passion for data-driven decision-making and a knack for solving complex problems. You will work closely with a close-knit team of experts, contributing to projects involving regression modeling and data analysis. This role offers the opportunity to transition from a contract to a permanent position, with the potential to lead a team in the future.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2

• Drive the success of the data analytics function by providing detailed analysis of various data.
• Support new products or operational improvements through proactive identification of areas of opportunity based on data trends.
• Resolve issues of strategic importance by directing high visibility projects.
• Generate timely and valuable analytical results through regular communication with senior management.
• Enhance the success of analytical solutions through detailed and complex data analyses.
• Produce reports, ad hoc requests, and dashboards by managing data integration from multiple sources.
• Identify and define data quality improvements to develop new strategies and improve business performance.
• Mitigate risks by conducting quality data audits and analysis to ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements.
• Utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and optimization methods for quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

Key Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Programming experience in SAS/R/Python/Alteryx
• Advanced statistical concepts (regression model development, testing, deployment)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience with geospatial analytics (preferred)
• AI tools knowledge (preferred)

Master’s degree in a quantitative field preferred. Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree can be considered.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
