Allegiance Staffing is currently seeking:
Position: Loomfixer
Pay: $18.88-20.23/hr
Shift: Mon – Friday 7:30 – 4:00 PM
Location: Tarboro, NC
Job Summary:
The Loomfixer is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and repair of loom machines used in textile production. This role ensures looms operate efficiently and with minimal downtime to maintain high-quality fabric output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and adjust looms during operation to ensure proper function.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and part replacements on loom equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or performance issues quickly and effectively.
- Set up looms with correct patterns and thread tensions.
- Work closely with weavers to address machine-related issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report equipment status to supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience working with looms or in textile manufacturing a plus.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
