CT Technologist Job Details – Spruce Pine, NC

• Location: Spruce Pine, North Carolina 28777 – Enjoy scenic mountain views, a friendly small-town environment, and access to outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
• Assignment Type: Travel CT Technologist position
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital (Critical Access, 25 beds)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (September 1, 2025 – December 1, 2025)
• Dress Code: Solid black scrubs, closed-toe shoes (no Crocs)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1800–$1840

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Active ARRT CT Registry (CT Technologist certification required)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist (2+ years preferred)
• Proficiency with GE Optima and GE Tempo CT equipment preferred
• Experience with PowerChart/Cerner EMR and PACS systems is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills: outgoing, empathetic, disciplined, diligent, and enthusiastic

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patients of all ages
• Conduct CT studies with and without contrast, including whole body and Code Stroke with perfusion scans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality clinical support and patient care
• Ensure accurate documentation and image management using EMR and PACS systems
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital policies and healthcare protocols
• Demonstrate flexibility by supporting other imaging modalities as needed within the radiology department
