Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required with 30-minute response time (non-negotiable)
• Open heart OR experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted unless candidate has open heart OR experience
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Skills required: ECMO, LVAD, Impella experience, scrubbing strongly preferred
• Handle CABG procedures, mitral/tricuspid/aortic valve replacements and repairs
• Assist with aortic dissections, pericardial windows, thoracotomies and VATS procedures
• Robotic experience in chest cases preferred
• Work with adult patient population
• Subject to float to any campus if needed
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Must complete compliance by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
• Non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours required during orientation
