ICU RN Job Details – Albany, NY

• Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Facility Type: Level I Trauma Center
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 22, 2025 – December 14, 2025)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,520 - $2,580 per week
• Weekend Block Option: Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
• EMR System: Epic (Epic EMR experience required)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to float to various ICU units (neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, ED, PACU)
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission
• Level I trauma center experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills in critical care settings

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill adults in multiple ICU settings
• Float between neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and provide ICU/PCC care in ED and PACU as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices
• Demonstrate adaptability in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
